Working with senior-level decision makers, South West Design Programme services range from group seminars and masterclasses through to bespoke advice from dedicated Design Advisers who can work alongside you to manage a design project in your business.
Workshops and Masterclasses
An ongoing series of events that are either active one-day workshops or shorter 2-3 hour master classes. Events focus on specific types of design and how to use them effectively. Our current programme of events and details of how to sign-up is available here.
Bespoke advice
After an initial assessment our Design Advisers can select from a range of tried and tested approaches that will suit your business situation. For businesses that have a strategic objective but aren’t sure which design solution will achieve it, we can provide an intensive approach over one or two days to overcome the hurdles and inject momentum. For those companies that need practical support to devise and implement a design project, we offer up to five days of one-to-one advice on setting up design management processes and running design projects. Connecting with universities
Our Design Advisers work closely with universities in the South West to match businesses with academic design expertise and resources. Initiatives include Knowledge Transfer Partnerships, Knowledge Catalyst and live projects, where graduates or students work with businesses on specific short to medium term projects.
